Aimee Breazeal
Aimee Breazeal is the owner and Teacher at Cottage in the Woods. She has over 17 years of experience working in the the field of child development. Working with a variety of age groups ranging from 0-14 years of age in many different environments. Aimee has a Bachelors degree in Child Development with a concentration in Early childhood Education from Humboldt State University.
Aimee is originally from the North Coast of Humboldt county. She and her husband, John, moved to Amador County in 2015.
Outside of her passion for educating young children. Aimee enjoys being in nature, watercolor painting, spending time with family and friends, and snuggling up with her fur babies by the wood stove on a wintery day to watch a movie.
John Breazeal
John Breazeal is the Husband of Aimee and will occasionally Substitute. He also has taken on the roles of the part time maintenance and landscaper. John's full time john is with PGE as a forester.
Outside of his work he enjoys many hobbies. He loves planning and enjoying new adventures and traveling.
Cathy Koos
Cathy Koos is the Mother of John Breazeal and was his home school teacher growing up. She has a strong belief in hands on approach to learning. Which lend them on many adventures around the country. Which gave John the real life experience for success.
Now Cathy has joined the Cottage in the Woods Community as a Substitute. She enjoys reading with the children, guiding children through their imaginary play, and more.
Outside of work with Cottage in the Woods she enjoys being creative in many different types of Medias, traveling and catching up with old friends.
